👩⚕️Interventions
What we offer
MHSTs offer CBT-based interventions designed as a guided self-help model. Children/young people and parents/carers are assisted to develop abilities to recognise, explore and develop coping strategies and skills in relation to managing thoughts, feelings and situations that are triggers for negative behaviours. Session Notes
Risk
If any new risks are identified, a new Risk Assessment and Safety Plan must be completed in session. The practitioner is to inform their supervisor at earliest available opportunity and confirm next steps/plan. The practitioner must update the Risk Assessment on PCMIS
Supervision
All interventions should be discussed at least once during the life cycle of an intervention in Case Management Supervision (CMS). Cases can also be brought to Clinical Skills Supervision (CSS). All supervision is to be recorded on HPFT Supervision App by the supervisee and signed off by the supervisor. The supervisee is to note ‘case discussed in supervision’ and pertinent follow up actions.
