Email encryption system

Whenever you are about to send an email that contains personal information to someone that doesn't belong to NHS (@nhs.net), you must secure your email with Zivver.

Before you can use Zivver, you need to install it from the Software Center, you can find it as 'Zivver Microsoft Outlook Plugin'. It looks like this:

Once you have installed it, Zivver will appear as an additional bar when you are drafting an email:

Please note that you will need a VPN connection in order to use log in to Zivver. Once you have VPN connected, it should automatically log you in.

When you need to secure your email, simply toggle it on, and it should look like this when it's secured:

If you wish to add any attachments, you can click the paper clip button from the Zivver bar, instead of adding your attachment the usual way.

Once you have uploaded the attachments, you can send your email securely.
