If a child/young person and/or parent/carers are unable to continue work during holidays of two weeks or more (Christmas, easter, Summer) then due to the length of time that risk will not be able to be managed/assessed we will pause cases until the next appointment.

  1. Go to 'Current Contact' on PCMIS

  2. Reason for pause - Patient Delay, click 'Pause Now'

  3. Set your next appointment on PCMIS, and the pause will be stopped until then.

  4. Ensure a case note is added stating the reason for pause and will resume after the break

  5. If the case is not allocated then keep it in the team tray, if allocated to a worker and started, keep it in their tray
