🏖️Discharging over holidays
If a child/young person and/or parent/carers are unable to continue work during holidays of two weeks or more (Christmas, easter, Summer) then due to the length of time that risk will not be able to be managed/assessed we will close cases and then reopen them once term has begun. GPs and parents/carers will be told via letter that a case has been put on hold for the holiday period.
Deactivate reason - service user choice
Ensure a case note is added stating the reason for discharge and will be picked up after the break
If the case is not allocated then keep it in the team tray, if allocated to a worker and started, keep it in their tray
